You should buy a Canon C200.
It's a significant step up from a DSLR but still retains the ease of use and relatively small form factor of a hybrid camera. It's a dedicated video camera, so it has robust onboard audio inputs and internal ND filters to easily handle a bright sunny day.
It shoots 4k and if you use a CFAST card instead of SD, you can shoot in RAW. It's also a popular model from a popular manufacturer that clients and other creatives will trust.
On a budget and don't need 4k? The C100 is still a solid performer and is very affordable on the used market.
